ADVANTAGE Car Rental at Chicago O'Hare Airport

Chicago O'Hare International Airport, or O'Hare Airport as it is also called, lies northwest of the city, about 18.2 miles from Downtown Chicago, a 22-minute drive taking Interstate-90W.

Passengers arriving from overseas arrive at Terminal 5, the International Terminal. Domestic travelers arrive at Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The procedure for car rental customers is the same for all:

You pick up your belongings from Baggage Claim in Arrivals, then proceed to the curb front of the lower level. Shuttle buses run 24 hours, pick-up from Door 1G at Terminal 1, from Door 2E at Terminal 2, from Door 3G at Terminal 4 and Door 5B at Terminal 5, although some car rental companies at Chicago O'Hare International Airport may use other doors. Shuttles are marked digitally at the front with “Rental Cars / Parking Lot F”. The buses run between the terminals and the Multi-Modal Facility, where customers will find the car rental desks of most providers on the first floor. Some car hire companies at Chicago Airport have depots outside this area. All customers need to do is to call their car hire provider and let them know they have arrived at the Multi-Modal Facility. Another shuttle will pick them up and take them to the car rental depot, where their chosen vehicle is waiting.
